Keep card fees low: charge once, not every time

Every card payment has a Stripe fee made of two parts: a percentage of the amount, and a small fixed amount on top. The percentage is the same however you split a payment, but the fixed part is charged every time. So charging fewer times costs you less.

Charge once, not every time

How to charge several at once

In Earnings, open Bookings & invoicing. When more than one weekly booking in a series is finished and unpaid, the button on the booking card shows how many are due and charges them together as one payment. You see the amount and the card first, and nothing is taken until you confirm.

Cash and bank transfer

What are Stripe’s rates?

To read The DoggyDesk’s own short note about card fees again, press the Note about card fees button at the top of Bookings & invoicing.
